Loving Your Neighborhood: Immersions
Our Vision
Justice as Mission is a community engagement entity with the vision to connect people groups that are not connecting due to location, space, mindsets and/or lack of knowledge or understanding.
We believe true justice comes from true connection.
We aim to build connections in the city of Sioux Falls by facilitating immersions where participants can connect in the city to learn, grow and develop new relationships with people/entities that they may not normally engage with....through food, business, non-profit work and so much more.

Many groups travel globally to “do missions” and yet the nations live here in Sioux Falls and they are our neighbors.
We can learn locally to engage globally.
This summer/fall there were three separate immersions funded by a Bush Foundation grant. A downtown city walk with justice impacted youth, next was a invitation into the context of our Indigenous neighbors in Sioux Falls, and finally a Whitter/Terry Redlin neighborhood immersion.
See the pictures below.
